I just bought a Perdana SEI (A) 1996 model 3 weeks ago for RM18.8K. if you drive your Perdana like a limousine, I promise you nothing will happen. but those who got problem with absorbers engine or gearbox I gotta say. but he didn't change any engine or gearbox becoz he drives well. Also he used the car too much to travel to Penang for 10 years. I think the Perdana is even better than the Camry.īut those who says the gearbox has got problems, I should say it depends on how you drive the car bro. spare parts were very expensive, and also the engine started to make blue smoke very soon. last year I had Camry 2.4 it was rubbish. I bought it for 38K and it was really worth it for this price. but still no any gearbox problem or engine problem. When I bought this car, the mileage was 320K. it's not a V6, but I think it runs better than a V6. I've just change my tail lamps few times. I've been using a Perdana 96 SEi for more than 1 year. And as we know.the second hand 6A12 also have a long age.hard to grantee that u can take a good maintence engine.Hi guys. I reali dun hope i will repair tis car again in the future few year.bcoz tis car so many trpuble.
Mana boleh tahan lama' bcoz in 2 years time.i spent 10k++ to repair tis car.after change the part.other part sure appear problems again. Until now.im juz scare about.if i change whole half cut again.i scare may be half year later appear problem again.bcoz as we all parts.' Duno my spare part worth how much only.if can trade in more than RM1500++ i tink i will tranplant it. Its cost RM4000++ and my spare part(etc engine,alternator, electronic,mounting) can trade in to them.the price of trade in still in negeotiate. From klang.i have to change the whole half cut of the perdana.but the manual 4g63 gearbox still can be use on 6A12 engine(proton ver/JDM also).
